The Footprints Foundation is a charity which aims to tackle problems facing disadvantaged communities. Through their efforts, the foundation has helped countless individuals and families find strength in the face of adversity. Ardent supporters of this mission, Cosgrove & Drew has taken a hands-on approach by building or renovating essential infrastructure in South Africa, such as orphanages, churches, and medical centres. These vital services also provide invaluable community hubs; each one a safety net of support for vulnerable populations.
We have been privileged to work closely with the charity since 2022, and we are thrilled to share the incredible success of our recent Golf Day Fundraiser. The event involved a delightful BBQ, raffle, auction, and of course – a passionate game of golf. Together, the memorable evening and its enthusiastic attendees surpassed our expectations, raising a whopping£4.5k! With this, Cosgrove & Drew is proud to announce this year’s ambitious project: the construction of a 37m x 8m extension of a school in South Africa. The funds we raise will support volunteers from our team to go to South Africa and undertake the build, as well as financing much of the construction costs. In turn, this will create a conducive learning environment for countless children, empowering them with education and brighter prospects for the future.
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the attendees, sponsors, and volunteers who made the Golf Day Fundraiser such a success. Their unwavering commitment and generous contributions have proved instrumental in helping us achieve the foundation's goals. This sincere thanks also includes the families, friends, colleagues, and suppliers that have joined us on our journey to give back.
